Having been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis in March 2017 Hebridean born comedian & actress Carina MacLeod decided the best way to cope with her illnesses was to write a stand up show about them called Fibro My Arth! for the Glasgow Comedy Festival in 2018. After selling out her show and then taking the show up to the Highlands and Islay, Carina has decided to extend her show from 1 hour to 90 mins and bring the new, bigger, better, longer and painfully funny show to Webster’s Theatre.
Fibromyalgia is a disease that affects the central nervous system which leaves most sufferers in constant pain on a daily basis. It has around 200 different symptoms and there is no cure at present. This is Carina’s personal story and how she copes with her symptoms and deals with her pain. She also goes into in-depth detail about bowel movements, so it’s quite literally shits and giggles.
