Now as you can imagine, “Oor Frances” was just a wee bit upset to find out that her male counterparts were being paid better & bigger money. “Sorry, honey! Showz the money” was her response and a call to action resonated with thousands and thousands of workers across Glasgow City Council: women (and a few men!) fighting for the right…to party? Well of course they had to fight the Labour Party…and a few others…simply for what they were entitled to. Carer or cleansing worker and so many others…underpaid…and overused.
